Catherine Boskovic

Catherine has been a yoga practictioner since 1994. Through her studies at the the Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago,  Catherine learned a system for awakening a direct experience, a methodology of self-reliance, self-discipline, and self-inquiry. Catherine teaches Hatha Yoga which are physical exercises that combine postures which force the mind to withdraw from the outside world in order to ultimately obtain inner peace and joy. The basis of her instruction focuses on alignment and breath.

Catherine enjoys teaching yoga to all levels of students. Her experience is varied from teaching in yoga studios, gyms, fitness centers, in the workplace, on the beach, as well as in the comfort of her students homes. She enjoys the challenge that comes from the variety of students that find themselves on a mat ready and open to experience their first yoga class and the need to still challenge those who are looking to deepen their practice.

Catherine has a special adoration in working with those with needs and disabilities. Catherine teaches those who are visually impaired, as well as stroke and cancer patients. She values each and every student for their own uniqueness. She places an emphasis on self empowerment, positive inner development, as well as accepting responsibility for their own lives and actions.
